Some of us were talking about a paintball meet but decided it's too expensive and not real practical for everyone so we thought airsoft might be fun.
Airsoft is fairly cheap, you can get a spring/air pistol for $20.00 and ammo is cheap as well, I just picked up a semi-auto co2 pistol for $40.00 at Dicks sporting goods today.
Airsoft is also not messy or painful like paintball is so it's a bit more friendly for the casual player.
We can also play nearly anywhere that we have a wooded are or in a more industrial type area if we have permission to use it and the ammo is biodegradable so cleanup isn't an issue.
First off who's interested and then we need to find a date fairly soon before it's gets snowy and nasty outside.
Airsoft meet!!

I'm leaning towards a Sunday morning if that works for the majority here, or a Friday-Saturday night if you want a night game but that adds to the risk of injury from tripping and falls.

A Sunday would be best for me too, since my wife and I started going to church on Saturday nights now. Late morning would be better to allow for the drive down there...

I know a pretty good wooded area in Roseville but we'll probably have to make sure to keep the guns out of sight until we're in the woods just so people don't get alarmed.Pappy wrote:I'm in....
Anyone got a place we can play?
I aired up the pistol I got and fired off a few rounds and I have to say I was surprised at the velocity and hitting power

A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."
