Hey all, This is not any type of sales pitch because I don't have any direct involvement with this item.

There is a guy on the Jet who runs SVT Salvage in New Jersey and he has started taking stock SVT TB's and boring them 2mm oversize and installing a billett throttle plate.

This 2mm overbore makes the stock TB a true 65mm straight through and does away with the hideous throttle plate that Ford used.

I just put one on my car and it is amazing the difference this makes and for much less money and you retain the OEM look and fit, unlike the aftermarket throttle bodies out there.

If you are running a stock TB on your SVTF you will be amazed at the difference this makes.

I am not sure, It depends on what you will be using for an intake plenum.

What blower did you order?

Hey, Is your car here right now? I saw an orange Euro with Dunlops on it out back today.

I believe he gets $100.00 for the stage 2 port which is what I have. The stage 2 is the 2mm overbore and the billett throttle plate.

I can sell you a new TB for $71.63 and I will ship it straight to him if you want.

Are going to be around this weekend at all? I would let you take mine for a spin to feel the difference.

180$ ain't bad for a new throttle body. Don't they normally sell for about $200+?

I'm alittle shy on money for alittle bit after the SC purchase and the rest of the money going towards christmas presents. Hopefully that guy is still porting these out in a few months, or I will take Steve up on his offer have a brand new one ported out.

Ohh, By the way Steve, I ordered a Focus Sport Stage II.

So if I manage to rig my air intake to fit onto the SVT TB it would work on my standard Zetec?

I don't see why not, I have a spare SVT throttle body if you want to play with it a bit or just get some measurements.

Assuming that the TP sensors are compatible you would just have to make it fit your intake, The SVT obviously has a bigger bore and the flange pattern is different but you may be able to work around that.

My only other thought would be the location of the IAC port, But like I said, You are welcome to play around with the spare I have.

Just to be clear though, I don't want to give it away. It will probably end up on my other ZX3 one day.

I have been shipping new TB's to him for people who want them but don't want to send theirs in.

I have done four this way already.

BTW :P to you getting a blower before me.
