The dumbass in the accord spun, hit two other cars, jumped the median and smacked my front tire, then ran off on foot. Bent a tie rod, screwed up the fender (more) and scraped a bunch of paint off the wheel.

Cops nailed the guy 2 blocks away, he's getting charged with reckless driving, fleeing the scene of an accident, misdemeanor flee police on foot and driving without insurance.

Asshole....

What do you want to bet he's uninsured?

Sucks but at least you can get the fender fixed now, your insurance should cover it and even if you have a deductible you should be able to find someone to paint a fender (Patalrob).

So, update from the adjuster- Insurance is paying to fix the fender, repaint the bumper (because of a 1/4 inch chip!), replace the right front strut and tie rod, and labor to have the bodyshop re-rattlecan my winter rim .

And the kicker is, I had a brand new bumper cover, so the hole next to the license plate is going away too...

On another note, anybody want a slightly damaged SVT front?
