Well I'm hopefully going to be buying a Turbo kit over the winter and put it on my car come spring and will need a tune. So are there any good places to get this done in MN? Or would you guys recommend doing it myself with some help?

Wow, nice place. I wish I had known about it sooner. I know I'm suppose to call for prices, but I'm assuming somebody here can answer this. About how much would getting my car tuned there run me? Just a ballpark estimate would be cool.

LOL I like how the RPM's go backwards towards the begining.
But again, any idea how much a good tune would run me there?

I believe it's all done hourly, just give them a call since a turbo tune is going to be a bit involved.

$500?!
Jeez I didn't know getting a tune ran that much. How much would it run me to look into doing this myself with the right research?

Tuning a turbo is no way to learn tuning unless you've got a lot of spare cash lying around.

Yeah I suppose.
So what all would I get for the $500? I know basically nothing about tunning right now. Would I keep the device they use to tune the car? Would it have the program loaded onto it and I'd just keep it or would they just load it up and tune it and send me on my mary way?

You'd get a complete tune. (I had them do a dyno and driveability tune on my car, since its a street car). You get an SCT Chip, that is burned with your tune. And you get sent on your marry way with a dyno sheet and knowledge that you're car can be pushed and will be reliable (tune wise anyways).

You could also get an XCal unit to keep instead of a chip. Then you could still flash back to stock, use it to pull codes, and datalog. But the cost of an Xcal will probably add another $200 to your total.
