I just finished my turbo install and now the car won't start. We double checked everything and can't find anyting unplugged except the mafs. Would no maf stop the car from starting? I have a fuel pressure guage on the end of my fuel rail that doesn't move when we turn the key. Any ideas would be nice. I dn't have any vacume/boost lines from the turbo or wastegate ran could that be it and if so will somebody show me where they go?

nope the car wont start with the maf unplugged. Also what injectors do you have install? becuase with a MAF that is not calibrated for the injectors your car may or maynot start and even if it does it will run like shit.

The car will start with the maf unplugged, it runs in its own limp mode with it unplugged. The maf also doesn't necessarily have to be calibrated with the injectors, I'm running the stock maf on my car with #42 injectors.

If you're turning the key and not getting any fuel pressure I'd check the fuel cutoff switch in the passenger side door. When you turn the key is anything else turning on? i.e. radio, etc. I'm assuming the car doesn't try to turn over at all.

does it turn over? define won't start. Did you unplug the crank position sensor? or the cam position sensor? either one of those will cause it to turn over and not start if they are unplugged. Oh and the crank position sensor is in the front lower on the engine side of the bell housing kind of where you can't see it. <--- i've done that one and it did everything right except start
Slower than your stock focus.

Yes but your running a piggy back chip, to adjust/compensate for that difference. I am assuming FOCI doesnt have a chip so thats why I said that.

since he's going to be running a turbo, he's going to need a tune regardless.

He's not going to need to calibrate the maf to get it started.

to tap on to the intake manifold i used the cover for the right side of the fuel rail. On the header I just bent the tube and crimped it.

how about the vacum lines on the wastegate, turbo, and bov? I don't have a boost controller should I get one?

Um.... Yea with out a Boost controller you will over boost and blow the fuck out of your enigne. but that right now has nothing to do with your car not starting.
