I haven't heard of anyone running one but here's my opinion compared to the Vortech. They use the smaller more compact trim but I can't find any numbers for the V9-F (FS SC) trim. Comparing the V5-G (I have a V5-F) to the V9-G trim the V5 slightlly outperforms it but can push out more boost. I'd wonder what the maximum boost for the V9-F trim, as the higher model, the G maxes at 20psi. I'd definitely look into this if you want upgradability. $3,000 is cheaper than Vortech's kit and you'll get the same results which is a plus.
Also unless you can fit a PWR barrel under the hood, there's no way I can see to run an intercooler which means you're going to be limited to low boost. If you don't ever plan to build your engine up more than this, I think this kit is a sweet deal
Here's my opinion:
FS Pros
-----------
Easy install, I bet I could do this in a few hours
Comes with SCTPro and XCalibrator. (approx $400 savings)
2nd cheapest supercharger setup, plenty of power over the JRSC
FS Cons
-----------
Ungradability
Lack of intercooled option

Justin, there is a intercooler for the VG/FS supercharger. They have one done. Its the gold car on the website. They do plan on releasing it very soon. I started a thread on FJ about it. And Randy also started a post about it as well. They are serious about releasing this bad boy. And this was my plan to be the last of the engine mods. Even tho I haven't done that much. Maybe wire, demon coil pack. Maaaaaaaaaaybe cams and TB. But thats it. I need to start paying the car off....LOL
But yeah, Justin, I do plan on buying the kit. Maybe next spring when I get the car out of storage, you could come down on a weekend and help out since you've done one before. My dad and I could do it, but we plan on taking our time, and doing everything perfect. And it always helps to have someone there to know more about the Zetec then we do. Plus I'll have some gauges then.....we could drive to a parking lot and you could install them....LOL

The sender line isn't bad. Drilling the block skirt is a bit nerve racking.

Yeah we can definitely take care of it next year. This kit looks like it'll be cake to install compared to the Vortech.

Cool. I was gonna try to get the car out of storage early so we could do this before and have it done. Maybe early March if the snow is low is where I was thinking.
