Paint
Where can a guy get some touch up paint (aerosol cans) locally? I'd like to paint my rubstrips, lowers, and mirror caps. I've been on the Dupli-Color website, but they are reallty no help in finding where to buy it.

You still have a focus? No way!ch435 wrote:Welle Auto Supply has it too. And there are three versions of Sonic Blue, (that's my color too) so the best way is bring the car with to match to their color samples.

Paint code is best, it's on the vin label in the door jam or I can run the vin and give you the code.ch435 wrote:Welle Auto Supply has it too. And there are three versions of Sonic Blue, (that's my color too) so the best way is bring the car with to match to their color samples.
Theres only two true Ford sonic blue paint codes. I don't know about your Saleen paint code, Saleen may have used their own color on yours.

I've got the paint code, I thought I remember seeing the dupli-color cans when I worked at Checker for less than $10 apiece. $20 a can is a bit steep.
Wonder how many I'll need? I plan on painting all my lowers, the rubstrips, and the mirror caps.
Of course, I'll need clearcoat and plastic primer. Fuck, it would probably cost the same to have a body shop do it.

Steve, when I went to Welle, I gave them the code off the door, and he came back with his chart and sample pieces showing three different sonic blues. They all said sonic blue, each slightly different.
Let's go boating.
