Will 225/45-17s fit with the stock SVT suspension. I've got EAPs on my ZX3 and I need new tires. My father-in-law has some he wants to sell, but I'm not going to buy them if I'd need to roll fenders or buy spacers. I know tires of the same size can have different fitment issues, so I'm just looking for a general case.

They *should* fit without modification, but they may rub over bumps a bit. I've got a set of 215/45/17 Kumho Solus KH16's with less than 15k miles I'm going to be selling soon. LMK if you're interested.

How much would you be wanting for them? Are they usable in Winter?

You should have no problem with a 225 on stock suspension...

They're usable for the winter, but not a great winter tire. I'd probably be looking for about $150 for the set.

I suppose it depends on how much my FIL wants for the tires he has. If he just wants to get rid of them, I'll go with that and then some 15s for Winter. I've got Ecsta ASTs right now and they're not great in snow. I've got to replace at least the rears before the snow flies because they're down to the wear bars.
