When it gets warmer out i wanted to pull the motor and trans out of my ZX3. i have never done this and have no experience. so i'm looking for help. i have a friend with a engine hoist that is willing to help. but, i want an experienced focus person there to help and over see my general fuck ups... i really don't have anything to offer, but i can provide food and drink for the days at the least. i'm not asking anyone to do it for me, just help turn a wrench or two and tell me what to do, and maybe learn me something.

plus i need one of them engine pallet deals to store it on
A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

if you have a friend with a lift it would be even easier. the motors practically take themselves out through the bottom

not a car lift, and engine lift/hoist or whatever. i dunno if that could lift the car up enough to get it out

i have a question then since it'll just be me and him. if i take out the rad and the header panel can we get the engine and trans together out the top?

yes. its really not that difficult you just need to maneuver the assembly back and fourth to fit it out the top. i do have an engine stand, however my uncles jag motor is hanging on it right now. let me know when you are planning on doing it and i will see if he is done with it.

cool, thanks. i didn't want to waste my time if i couldn't. i don't need a stand, i just need something to store it on. i don't know what it's fate is yet, i don't want to just put it on the floor, this is my baby's heart.

FYI, When I took mine out, I did not need to take the radiator out.

And prospects are looking good that you can have my 2.0 block.
Let's go boating.

if all you need to do is set it on something, go get a cheap used tire, put it under the oil pan and drop her down. its cheap and makes a good place to set it. if you go to tousley you can usually buy a smoked tire for 5 bucks
