I want to pull the LIM to have it and the UIM honed out bigger. I also want to pick up a 65mm TB one of these days and mount that. I also have a nice shiny IMRC box and EGR block off to install.

now you guys got me thinking again. mr clockwork, you said you had a clutch made to work with your setup?, i wounder if they could do one that would work ith the getreg out the svt focus? i know the 3.0 has plenty of grunt but you can always use more mechanical advantage!!! and i wounder in stock trim how much more faster am i looking at, i can out run a dohc taurus as is now, would it be worth it to swap in the 3.0 or just boost the svt engine? i follow the old sckool with no replacement fer displacment, but if i were to do this id have to stick with the six speed, i used to hate this trans, but now i love it.

well as you know, duratec V6's have been put into a focus.
i know nothing of the 2.3 I4 duratec but i can tell you this. the only trans you'll be able to bolt to a duratec V6 is a MTX-75.
Clutchnet will make you whatever clutch you want. just call up their help line and they'll figure it all out. they are a real good service, and very knowledgeable. your clutch will be made the day after you order, and you'll have it usually within 5 days.
but this is just the way to go. put a 3.0 in the foci

well you just put it together right the first time.
then all you gotta do is change the oil and air filter, thats pretty easy
or you can do this. 700HP focus anyone?

Is the focus engine bay that much smaller than the Contour bay anyways? A lot of people are scared by the tight fit in the engine bay, but it's not as bad as it looks
Tyler, my car struggles to keep up (highway) with a certain boosted zx3 on this board. So they can go plenty quick... Helps when they have a 500lb advantage though

You need a ride in Pitchblacks car then, or Patalrobs once it's running again, or Pappys or O2's for that matter.ClOckwOrkSVT wrote:i got a ride ina boosted ZX3 and i was totally unimpressed. of course that was after having my 200HP+ 3L swapped in my car. so i dunno.
