I noticed my tire pressure was pretty low in my driver's side rear tire so I filled it up but it would still go low again the next day. So, knowing I had to be in class the next day and straight to work after, I went to Tires Plus in Rosedale and got it patched up. They found a big nail in the middle of the tread. When I come out of a crappy night at work, my same tire is flat again. Had to find a gas station with a working air pump, cold as hell, pumping air into my tire, and paranoid as hell driving home. Went back to Tires Plus and they found a small hole in my sidewall. Aka I need a new tire, after owning these for like 2 months.
The Tires Plus guy was cool, he had them put on my spare (good thing steelies are black, so it kinda matches) and gave me a refund to use towards a new tire, which he knew I had to get at Discount Tire anyway, he even gave me directions to a Discount. At Discount, told the guy my story, he checked out the tire, and gave me a nice discount since there was still plenty of tread and added road hazard on all 4 (even though I didn't buy them directly from them) for 152 total. Not bad at all. So kudos to Tires Plus in Rosedale and Discount Tire in Columbia Heights
Um... moral of the story is, remember to check your tire pressure.

And the road hazard thing tire places offer can be a good deal. Getting nails removed or even if stuff happens where you have to get a replacement, spending the 64 can save you some money with how crappy our roads are getting
