I managed to bottom my car out this past weekend. Apperantely, if your going 85 through the wiscony ABC roads, and you hit a little bump, you can do this.
I was just wondering if anything may have possibly been damaged when this happened. Threre hasn't been any weird new noises since then, and the rest of the day it still handled fine. I just want to double check. Thanks guys.
lol bumpstops.

Nothing will be broken with your suspension....
Hitting the bump stops is not even low.
I had to remove my bump stops, because my car rests on them, while parked, hahahaha

figured as much, just wanted to make sure. never bottomed a car out like that before.
Me being able to hit the stops only means one thing.
I need stiffer springs, and a drop asap. lolz

Considering your Foci looks like an SUV....
I can't beleive you hit the bumpstops.
I think you really need to lower you car sooner than later.

I have the parts yet they are not in yet. I think the SVT susp. is alot lower then your standard foci so at least mine is not SUV height and at least mine is not scrape the pavement height either!!rbrommel wrote:jen, do you even have your car lowered?
