It's called a sight shield, it's really an air defelctor that keeps the air flowing through the radiator rather than over it.

Nice Steve!

How easy is it to use the 05+ grill is it pretty much put in or a little triming? I do understand that you woul have to take off the "Beauty Ring"...

The grille and sight shield are both modified '05 parts.

The grille requires removing the chrome and trimming off the excess inch of black plastic around the edges. Not fun but doable (obviously).

Yeah I had taken mine apart and was going to attempt it but I was hmmmm I better ask Steve how he did his. But I just swaped it into the ST grill on the X5 :D I would do the grey one in the SVT but it might look kinda out of place.
