So I Niteshaded my tails (thanks to Focusmech) and this led to washing and waxing the entire car (including wheels).

Those pics were taken this morning at the fair grounds, About half way through the pics a fairgrounds cop cruised by and told it the car looked great and kept on going. 8)

As for the corners? I can't say yet, there is a plan in the works though. :D

I did about two coats that ended up orange peeled and full of dust and gunk :(

What you see in the pics is after wet sanding with 600 grit and then hitting them with polishing compound about five times and then applying like five coats of wax.

It was a lot more time consuming than I thought it was going to be but the result looks great.

I can cut them open so the housings can be painted Black then they would need to be epoxied back together after the painting, there the same brand as the the original test set that I let you experiment with.

Maybe it would be easier to just buy the black housing ones? I'm going to niteshade them when done anyways...
