Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Ha ha I just got a couple of floor tickets to see Judas Priest. lol. I last saw them 1983 for the Defenders of the Faith tour. Talk about 25 years ago...holy shit, I was 19. Man how time flies. I'm gonna have some seriously ringing ears after this one.

Nice job Chalon, I saw them live four times I think.

Best live band I ever saw and I've got a pretty good list to compare them to.

AC/DC
Black Sabbath
Iron Maiden
Deep Purple
The Kinks
Joan Jett
Cinderella
Elton John
Pink Floyd
Aussie Pink Floyd (cover band that actually sounds better than the real Floyd these days)

and some more I can't think of right now.

I don't think my ears could take it anymore though, I'd love to go but I'd probably have to wear earplugs.

I had back stage passes when they came to the Target Center like 2 years ago. A close family friend plays in the band that opened for them, a little band out of Seattle named Queensryche. Priest was awesome, Halford has lost nothing. I was drinking up the bands stash and my friend Ed Bass said, oh hey they started you have to see them man they are awesome. My passes came with 7th row center tickets. It was very cool.

I saw them in '82 and '83. It was awesome. I just happened to be watching some youtube vids and saw they were touring. When I saw the date for the Myth, I quickly picked up a couple of tickets. To get to see these guys one more time makes my summer.

Today's formulated pop crap is junk. If you like electronica go get yourself some Eon and see where it all started. Old timer music can be good. I listen to just about everything. Even some of the new pop junk (I have to learn songs for my band like Pink- U & Ur Hand).

JP certainly isn't for everybody. They started in the mid 70's. Bands like Pantera and Metallica have stated they were influenced by JP. Certainly many others. It will be fun for me for sure.

1970 as a matter of fact. That makes me feel really old, I was 3 when they formed the band.
