Yea my box arrived from Sascha (http://www.european-parts.net). I finally got myself some ST's (I've sold a few sets along with SVT HID's, but never kept one for myself). So teh wagon will soon sport '98 Euro upper( o2designs got my first one), lower, and the ST's (and body color S-2 lip for now).

Questions
1. I need bulbs, and just want to make sure the sizes. H1 for highs, H7 for lows, and ? for city lights. Halp
2. Is there a "How to wire ST-170's for Dummies" thread I can follow? I have two connectors and a bunch of yellow leads.
3. What's the deal with the Euro lower w/fogs...zip ties or what?

Thanks for the help!

P.S. I'm keeping the shit

If you come into Rochester I could help you...Only takes alittle bit...

Otherwise, the bulb sizes sound right. The signals are weird bulb. You need to buy a regular single fillament bulb (3157?) I'll check) and sand off one prong on the end. The little city lights are 194's.

Funny, your wagon will look just like mine, except in Red. I'll have same lights and grilles in a month or two...haha (great minds.....?????)

Otherwise FJ as a really easy how-to on how to do it, along with the wiring diagram I used on mine and Nils' car.

I may have to come down for a little media blasting if possible. Maybe hook up the goods then?

Otherwise, wheres the wiring diagram I used. Pretty self expl.

I wish I'd known you ordered the lights. I need another set of VW harness's for my wagon, I have a spare set of ST170's I wanted to wire into the wagon.

Yeah, powdercoat. I'm going to look at booking a night at the Holiday Inn (free points) and werk one evening, then drop em off the next day. If he's able to turn them around pretty quick, I could maybe stay a few days down there. Not sure. But I'm thinking something along those lines.
