New seat or seat cover options?

I am tired of my neoprene seat covers. What options do I have for some good comfortable (like drive 5 hours in them) seats? I've heard of Recaros but where do you get them and how much? Or is there a better seat cover option? Looked into Katzins but they don't list a price anywhere. They used to have a do it yourself kit at one time I thought. I would like something a little more colorful than the SVE seats (red/black). Plus I don't want to sit in someone elses seat if you know what I mean.

saw some custom race seats recently, dunno if they are good or not, but they looked decent.

To get prices for the Katz you will need to find a Katz authorized dealer. I looked into a set of covers a year or more ago and If I remember right the price was around $700.00 which included fronts, rears, and door panel inserts.

I have seen covers with a bit of extra padding in the seat and bolster areas, these like the Katz are true replacement covers and not just an additional cover that you put over your existing upholstery.

You can make minor comfort changes with the type of covers above but to really get a better seating surface you will either need to have your seats reconstructed or buy different seating.

Aftermarket seating varies from near OEM style seating to the full race gear that you probably wouldn't want in your DD car.

The SVT Recaros are some of the finest seats you'll ever sit in.

Where does one even get new Recaros? Curious as everyone seems to love them but I haven't seen anywhere to buy them.

You can't buy new ones.

You can't buy new OEM EAP Recaros, If you just want a generic Recaro you just have to find a distributor.

Cartoon bubble,

Trahma sitting in the garage, the Focus is on blocks in a state of disrepair, he is sitting behind the wheel jerking it to the right and then to the left all the while making motor noises and the occasional tire skreech as he "corners" or slams on the brakes....
