Best option on corners

Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Not sure which way to go on new front corners, clear or smoked, I plan on the tails staying Red so I am thinking clear, wish they had Red fronts that would illuminate orange. I suppose if one could get a very intense yellow lamp or led to mix with the red you may be able to get a "legal" orange illumination but if the popo saw the red marker up front they might nip a guy regardless of what color was displayed when it was lit.

I liked my body color signals on Rattles.

Red would be cool. Get some super bright LEDs, and I could tint clear signals Red for you...(kinda see thru, like LaminX)

Stock + smoked if you have window tint. If not, I would go with clear ones

My thoughts on matching body color would be to get clear corners and try to either paint the lens with a translucent mixture of body color paint, since it is red I am dealing with mixing it with a brilliant yellow light source should produce an "legal" amber/orange glow.

Or starting with clear corners again, removing the lens and painting the "reflector", back half of the housing body color. If you then had an orange bulb or better yet amber LEDs which are a directional light vs the standard bulb the LEDs would illuminate through the clear lens without illuminating the Red background to any degree.

Possible, maybe, the second possibility would not limit a person by requiring a mix of proper colors to get a legal orange/amber and the area behind the bulb could be painted any color from egg yolk, Maliblue, Copper.....

Thanks for the input everyone, after taking a look at the car during todays lunch break and imagining how things would look I think that smoked is the way to go.
