I have no idea about their breaks, but I would imagine they have pretty decent brakes

I've been tempted to check out Fusion's myself.

thanks for the replies. I can't wait till sat! I'll be driving around all day. my plans for the car is to have FI by the end of the summer. Just need to sell a bunch of stuff first

Just to let you all know, since this tread got bumped, the alien is doin awesome. Thanks again Josh. I really had plans to go FI this summer, but its gonna have to wait untill next year.

Forced to move back in with the rents after the gf and I broke up. So now I have three cars (the alien, 04 focus sedan, 94 t-bird V8) and no where to live...

Since buying the car the only real problem was the T-stat housing started leaking. Pretty quick fix. Other then that I've done brakes, tires, plugs & wires, new cd player/speakers/amps/subs, euro grill, and smoked turn signals.

I really want to tint the windows, but since I've been pulled over 5 times in this car already, probably not a good idea...

Twice in st. paul, speeding ticket each time (my own fault)

once in cottage grove, cop said I was following to close, then asked all sorts of questions about my car. Pretty cool guy, just a warning

once in prescott wi, it was one AM and I got pulled for "illegal aux lights", which were my light up washer sprayers... I then got the third degree about where I had been, where I was goin, got the sobriety (sp?) test, car searched, the whole nine yards. I guess if you own a nice car in a small wiscony town your automaticlly a drug dealer or something. Got to drive away laughing.

Most recent was outside river falls, wi. Had my cruise set at 56 and got pulled for speeding. Total a hole. but just a warning

Well, thats my adventures so far... I wish I could make it to a few meets, but I'm so frickin far south.
