well they are fixing both cars with new axle assemblies. but check out the pix forum to see why i only care about my wifes fusion.

All Duratec manual trans cars have poor clutch feel, it's something about the design. It's a different setup from the Zetec MTX, same trans but different clutch, slave and flywheel.

Duratecs have dual mass flywheels like SVT's which contributes to part of it.

As for the funky shift issues 06 is having it's probably due to the disc partially delaminating and not allowing the clutch to fully disengage.

The TSB should fix the main issue with the shifting but it's alway going to feel different than a Zetec, I had an '02 2.3 MTX and I hated the way the clutch felt. It was one of the reasons I traded it for my SVT.
