You can tell some of the pics were taken during assembly, In the intake closeup the injectors and wiring aren't there and the intercooler plumbing isn't in place either.Pitch Black wrote:what did he do with all the stuff in the engine bay
**edit** alot of the stuff is taken out of the pics. where is the fuel system, the maf wires, and all that stuff.

Ride height can always be tweaked and the bronze wheels are one of my favorites of all time.o2designs wrote:I'm with Nick. Its not the perfect Focus. But it does have ALOT of nice things about it.
I love the Brakes, Bumpers, Color, and the engine bay. I really don't like those wheels on the car, nor the ride height. And the interior is not up to my liking.
It is a very nice car tho.
And this is in the wrong thread noob....LOL j/k
I was wondering how long it would take someone to mention the whole "wrong thread" thing

Stop eatting fast food.
LOL/ j/k Nick. To me, it looks like he removed some interior weight with getting rid of shit, and prob some A/C stuff. I don't think it would be too hard to loose 400lbs on a track only car.

i got down to 2410 with a 1/2 tank. that was with no back seat or spare.
so with the ac gone, no sunroof, power windows and locks, no speakers or deck and race seats, i think you could make that no problem

Yeah, it would'nt be hard.
remove alot of int panels and bracing. Once you start doing it tho, the car will never be really streetable again tho.
And you MUST remove the carpet. Nothing is more badass then a bare floor.

The carpet, padding and sound insulation weigh about 40 pounds all by themselves. I'm pretty sure he pulled all the A/C stuff as well.
It can be done if you don't mind losing some civility, I don't think it would kill the streetability though.
O.K. so the owner is Dominic, The guy that does the machine work on the Stage 2 ported throttle bodies we sell at Tousley. He lives in New Jersey and after a little chatting I can say that all the fabrication work was his own.
He built the car over the last two years, It's a stock SVT engine that's done a best of 385 whp but he backed it off to 350 to save the engine. He's shooting for 400 whp but he's going for it slowly. I doubt it can be done with a stock motor and have it live but he's going for it.
Not bad looking for a homebuilt car huh?

I like the engine bay, but it don't count. Alot of our engine bays would look nice and neat if we removed some parts and took pics. But for what is there, it is damn nice.
