Zurno, FORDSVTPARTS, mars, Deagle, and now me. Holy Crap!
They still work well. We were out on unplowed gravel roads with around 5" of snow. Getting snow and ice packed on the inside of the rim does suck.

Snow in the rims sucks for sure, Just wait till you get some frozen in there and it doesn't want to come out.pantera1 wrote:Zurno, FORDSVTPARTS, mars, Deagle, and now me. Holy Crap!

Just finished cleaning the ice out of my wheels an hour ago....

But now I can go over 55 again without my car shaking

You guys would all be jealous of my snow tires if you could see them. 14" Blizzaks mounted on steel wheels, with no hub caps. Very sexy.
Especially going from the 225 16"s, these things look so puny it's rather comical.
Bought them for $125 on craigslist though, so I can't complain much.
Also, most winter tires (I've been told) have their "super snow grip" rubber on the outer couple 16ths, and once you wear them down about half way they are less uber. I've had good luck with used ones, but kust something to be aware of when dealing with used tires- they are a lot cheaper, but you are probably getting less of a tire as well.
