I do not believe the RS was sold in Canada either, so it would still have to be an import.KRYPTO wrote:It wasn't imported, it had Canadian plates!umdivx wrote:KRYPTO wrote:I dont think a older (40) guy would do a kit on his Foci.
It was an RS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I did have my cammera with to show everyone.
I still call BS on a real RS, no 40YO guy would import crappy Focus

You do realize that when you import a car you HAVE to put your own plates on it. and again they DIDN'T bring the RS focus to North America! So it was either an RS kitted car with RS fenders (which with a good body guy) is easy to do.KRYPTO wrote:It wasn't imported, it had Canadian plates!umdivx wrote:KRYPTO wrote:I dont think a older (40) guy would do a kit on his Foci.

or it was an import RS which I highly doubt as canada has stricter import laws for cars then the US does.

Which side of the car was the driver sitting on?
I believe most RS's were right hand drive.

a Second to what Steve said. I don't know what all countries they sold it in, but I think the UK might be one of very few countries in Europe that is RHD.
I think they shipped some to France, but they were then surrendered to Germany.

HAHa, yeah, I look more then England. I've even seen some in England left hand. But only one. Most likely an import or some crazy Euro conversion...LOL
I'd rather take a left hand drive one anyway...
