K - So my car is still in the shop getting the ass-end repaired.....since I had the 18's on it when I was in the accident. Insurance is paying me for the tire, since they no longer make the Scorcher....Now I got 3 treads with 6/32 life gone. I called BF and they said they would pay for half of the 3 new tires.

I am looking at the g-Force KDW /2 - 215/40/18. I had the 215/35/18 but I think a bigger tire would be a little bit better for it, was thinking about going to 225 but really unsure right now, Any Suggestions on what tires work the best with the focus?

I would bump up to the 40's but you got to watch out for tire scrub on a droped focus. I had 35's for a year hit a pothole and trashed a rim because the sidewall was so thin on the 35's

Im gonna be running 215/45/17 on my car with stock, I know a few folks that have the HK 35/40mm drop with 215/40/17 and those rub.

I think the closest you can go with a slight rub would be the 215/40/18, 225 might be too wide for the rim but if not the wider the tire the more it will stick out of the side of the rim and help protect the rim.

I got my car back today - I guess I never realized I had a chrome muffler <shrug> It looks nice.

As far as the tires go - I am currently getting prices for the 3 (215/40/18, 225/40/18, and the 215/35/18) Hopefully they won't be that expensive. The only reason why I want the 225's is because I want the rim to be more protected - It stuck out some on the 215's. I was reading on Focaljet some guys said they didn't have a problem - unless they were cornering hard - while at the same time others were saying it rubbed.

well what would protect it more is having a bigger side wall, IE 45 instead of 40, i wouldnt do to 35 at all if I were you, the only thing that going from 215 to 225 will do is save you from scractng the face of the rim if you happen to be parking next to a curb and get too close.
