I don't really like that site much after seeing how that one mod acts.
What do you all think?

FF and FJ are different. Has always been the case. I do not agree with the mod's actions. But, tis the internet. I'm pretty sure a person's opinion sometimes should be kept just that, personal. Forums have their good days and bad days. Certainly any member of an internet forum has experienced this.
You may feel one way one day, or week, month, or year. This doesn't mean you can't get past the heat of the moment and see there is a wealth of community and shared experience which contribute to the value of all the forums.
I was a mod on FF in the early days, when FJ had the hardcore tuners and FF was populated by a mix, but mostly folks that wouldn't be tearing into motors. Alot of us started with FF because it wasn't so hardcore/intimidating.
Each forum has its place. Good, bad, or indifferent on any given day.

I't seems like and East Coast, West Coast deal to me and they are using the Rockies as a fence to spit over at one another at times. Really doesn't make much sense to me that they would get as abrasive and nasty as they do in a public forum. For myself I have seen Randy from FS and some Bone head from out East have a "spirited discussion" over HP and turbo charging. Randy conducted himself in a professional manner where as the other guy was a total jerk. Needless to say I will not purchase anything from the Yahoo out East because I do not want to deal with someone that can be such an Azz. He shot himself in the foot when he was prancing around spouting his unargueable pontifications. As far as content and help I find I go to FJ first along with MNF, and then maybe, maybe FF. FJ has a good number of members which means a lot of experience to share FF does too but I've been turned off by the conduct over there, I think I have only posted twice on FF, much more here on MNF and on FJ. Most of the members of FF that have been whining about FJ seem to have been kicked off of FJ, three cheers for moderators!!! Moderators help keep things civil and are in a tough position because they have to make decisions that at the time may be unpopular but necessary. I think good moderation is the key differences between the two FF is a classroom run amuck with a substitute teacher at the helm that could give a rip, where as FJ is more like a catholic school, break the rules and your knuckles will bleed, damn wooden rulers...(not quite that strict but you get my point).

That other guy is Tom, and yeah, I've seen him act like that too. He is quite often full of himself. FF people also are much quicker to critcize and mock, where FJ is more constructive and helpful.grocerygetter wrote: For myself I have seen Randy from FS and some Bone head from out East have a "spirited discussion" over HP and turbo charging.
