Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Looking to put some decals on the Foci. Does anyone know how to lay them or of a place that could do them. It will take up half the side. Another thing, I'm thinking of removing the door moldings. Any thought about how that looks? Should I do it or no?
Thanks

Can't remember for sure but I think, providing your talking about the black rub moldings that are horizontal on the car midway up the door, there are holes hiding behind those moldings which would need to be filled, sanded and painted. Someone should be able to confirm that.

He has a SVT, so the moldings are body colored...

And taking them off, IMHO, looks like ass...

Otherwise, just find a vinyl shop that can put the vinyl. I don't recommend doing it yourself.

I was thinking it would be easier to lay decals on with them off, but if it looks like crap maybe I should leave them on? I talked to a graphic shop, they said $100 if I remove the door moldings and the old decals. I had someone lay them on the car already and it looks like SHIT. They printed new one for free, but now I'm stuck with taking them off and replying them.

Just so you know, I didn't lay it myself like I said in the last post. I could have done better.

Yeah, I'm not saying you suck either...LOL

But your very lucky that you had someone put them on, and they fucked up the job, and now the vinyl shop is cutting you new stuff for free, when it was'nt their fault you had an idiot put them on. So, like I said, your very lucky.
