counter wieght

Finaly removed my counter wight on the tranny. That shiznits tight, I wish I found this out earlier.
Anyone else done this yet?

the block of metal on the shifter on the tranns? does it make it feel lighter or some thing, i thought it was there to make the shift feel more positive.

no, the mod is sposeta help with that. when the trans is cold and i get on it, it dont like me to shift faster than the synchros can spin everything up to speed.

i can do the 1-2 shift at 7k so fast that the synchros cant keep up with me sometimes, but it aint nothing special, the motor and trans did sit for some time(crashed in 02 with 6k on it,daliy drivin 3-4 years later...hmmmm) so it will need to be rebuilt, it will break soon enough.
