I cannot begin to freaking explain just how f'd I'm feeling right now. My soon to be ex-boss just called me to say the company is pulling out of doing business in the state! I have a few weeks of work left in my inventory, then I'm unfreakinemployed. I'm not believing this shit.

If I want to move, I can keep my job....what a deal. Dam. This was a good gig. Best I ever had. Man I am so pissed right now. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that. I know you struggled just getting into the position and fretted about going out on the limb with a new job (way back when). Good luck, i know you will land on your feet quickly, sucks they pulled the rug from under you so quickly.

Thanks for the encouragement.

I have been working as a field premium auditor for a workers comp insurance company. Prior to this, I worked as an independent contractor for a year doing the same thing.

For the previous 16 years, I was a retail operations manager.

I left retail for good (I hope).

Super sorry to hear Chalon. I wish you luck in a new job search. I'm sure with your credentials you will have NO problem finding a new job though.

Good luck, keep your chin up ;)
