I was going to ask you about your tires on Saturday but never got around to it, I think my brain fried in the heat. I noticed your tires looked "scrubbed". Have you autox'd on those yet? I know the RT's have a pretty low rating of 200 due to the fact that they are made softer and sticky for well... racing around cones and handling other curvey road conditions. How many miles do you think you'll get out of those 15k, 25k??

Yeah, his tires have been autoXed acouple times on. Azenis usuaully don't last long if you daily drive them and autoX them as well. But if you run hard on your tires, no tire will last a long time. Even my Kuhmos have that chunked shoulder on them.

I believe most people get around 5-10,000miles on Azenis when they autoX and only get 6 runs an event. I know Nick has alot more then a few runs on them...haha

I have probably close to 40 runs on them so far and maybe around 4000 miles, but I am not really sure how many miles my car had on it when I put them on.

This is going to get expensive.

hmm, thats pretty cool.

Not sure who owns the 03 Focus or teh SVT. But there is sometimes a SVT that shows up, never meet the driver.

The 02 ZTS is Scott's Mach.

And I'm assuming you signed up for Exhibition Brian? Why that class?

Cuzz I like to drive with no pant's on...

Seriously though, first time, just checking it out, don't know any better, wanted to get entered right away so I would have a spot, read the rules on line, didn't talk to anyone about it. That's about it as to why Exhibition. I'll have fun regardless.

well, of course you'll have fun!

But since you are entered in, I'd edit your class to SI.

Well, SI is typically for people who start running half way thru the year, only want to go acouple times and try it out, and have'nt done it before. Its kind of like a beginner class. While EX is typically for fully built track sluts.

You'll have more fun running with cars that are more comparible to yours.

unlike Nick and I who are gonna get our asses kicked really badly.

true story

This is the bar of soap (that had the highest RAW time last time)
Image

something about a car that weighs a little less than 2000 lbs, is RWD, is making 280 supercharged horses, and is running on 275/35r15's that kinda makes me think we have no chance

maybe if we are lucky he will cone all day and we wont (ok, so he will probably need to cone twice per run for that to happen)

Its gotta be the shiny rims on that bar of soap that makes it go ZOOM ZOOM!

Hey guys what kind of speeds can/do you reach on course? I am sure it depends on the course layout but I am interested in a ballpark figure.
