well, honestly I think I'd rather keep the SOHC as my main boost junky ride. I know the Zetec can out perform the flow of the SOHC with it's 16 valves and all, but the CVH seem's to take the abuse better. While on the dyno with my 1.9 SPI (stock internals with high milage) I cranked that little IHI as high as it could go (with in it's range), ran it lean with stock timing and it did'nt even hick-up. The compression is as good today and the day I dropped the SPI head on it. Plus, if I do break something, part's are plentiful and cheap. While the Zetec on the other hand still sell's for $300-400.
I'd rather see the Zetec sedan get sold, and continue to boost the snot out of the SOHC Pony. So sorry, no SOHC turbo parts for sale yet.

lol
When it's all done, my goal is to make it look like it came stock from the factory with a Zetec in 92. Not so getto looking.

not yet... I wish it could be done. I dont have much spare time with a kid/wife house/full time job.
List of thinks left:
Custom down pipe with O2 bung, and flex section to join from the Focus manifold to the rest of the hacked up exshaust thank's to the previous owner.
Put the belt on, not looking forward to that.
Hook up the power steering line.
Install radiator, hook up heater core and fill.
Few finishing touches to the harness.
Put bumper and head light's back on, changes all the burnt out light bulb's so the cop's leave me alone.
Maybe this weekend it will be driveable, if not I'm taking another day off of work to finesh it.

i hear ya i got all the same problems...most of my garage work now takes place after 9:00pm (little mans bed time) if you weld i have a cracked race header for the zetec...you can have it if you want...it'll save you some effort cause it has both 02 bungs in it and it never threw a code. i don't have a flex section though but its a direct bolt in.
and who needs power steering?
if you want it give me a buzz 612-296-1533

Yesterday I finished up the harness, it's all wrapped and ready to go. And I did weld up a down pipe, I just reused the Escort 1.9 down pipe with stock cat and O2 bung. I did'nt have a flex section, but the previous owner cut out the stock one and clamped in a section of those gay parts store flexible tubing crap (it leak's all over). The front motor mount is filled, hopefully the motor does'nt move to much and rip up the exshaust.
All that's left to this project is the belt, radiator, heater core and power steering pluming. And then hope it all works.
PS: iamgod, I could fix your header, and then hang it on my wall to intimidate all the stock manifolds
I think the Focus has a different routing underneath the motor then the Zx2's, but I'm sure I could make it work.
