When you walk out your apt, about to finish up the engine detailing and then you found out this, how do you feel?

Can you f******* believe this? I'm so f******* pissed right now. Luckily she didnt ran away so the story is: a girl backed out into my car and claim that her brake failed. my foci got owned by 98ish mercury mystique.
she said the insurance gonna call me tomorrow or monday. what do you guys think I should do later to get the best deal. (I never claim insurance before as I've never been in accident before).

do you guys know approximately how much the damage will be (ball park)? Are they gonna replace the rear panel out, etc? I was wondering if the dentless guy can repair it or not.

I'm out for a drive..God damn it!!!!!

Holy Fuck!? Are you serious!!

I'd say its about 3,000 to get that repaired. Most likely they will try to smooth out the panel and fill up what they can't and reshoot.

Its a bitch replacing that rear panel like that. Alot more work into switching it then just pounding it out and respray.

Goodluck on that ordeal!!

So your not bringing it with tommorow? Or you bringing with the other boosted jalopy?

You dont claim it on your insurance. Your car was parked, and was totally not your fault. Did you get her insurance info?

I have her insurance info. I looked closely, the rims clear coat worn a bit, the side skirt a bit bended, and the rest is pretty much just rear panel. I'm hoping i can go to the body shop I chose, not them. couldn't happen at a better time. I spent last night rubbing and waxing the hood, sides and rear. f***

drive around and get a bunch of quotes from autobody places, keep the three most expensive ones, and turn those in to her insurance company, then find some place to do it for cheaper and pocket the rest.

That sucks. Minnesota law states you can take it were ever you want, the insurance company will need to pay no matter the cost.

Don't take a check either, They'll probably lowball you. make them pay the bodyshop.

I'd say $3000.00 or better. If I were you I would contact her insurance company yourself just to be sure they know about it.

Also you should contact yours just as a safety to yourself, Don't file a claim though.
