Im trying to decide what kind of exhaust i want. I like the look, and the quiet sound of my bosal. should I just get a 2 1/4" flex pipe and keep the Bosal, so it stays quiet. I can also take the flex off at the track. ORRR get a 3 inch flex back, with a magnaflow muffler, and have it be louder, but also have the most possible HP at all times? What would you do? Duh Duh daaaaa!

Hey CleanZX3, you heard my exhaust before right? I had a custom 3" catback with Magnaflow mid muffler. I think 3" will be a good setup for the turbo, spools the turbo faster and possibly add some ponnies. I have to admit that it's loud man at 3k rpm, I don't have resonator and cat on my car.

I got it done here in Mankato. It's a tuner shop. Yes, it's mandrel bent.

I don't really remember how much exactly, but it's around $360-390. That includes labour, Magnaflow 3" muffler, 3" stainless steel pipe. I bought the tip from eBay for about $15.

Unfortunately I don't have the undercar pics, but I'll try to take it if I have time today or tomorrow.

Looking at this it doesn't look like your bend in the last picture isn't mandrel bent or it was a pretty poor bend. Not trying to flame on you, it could just be the angle its at. A well bent exhaust shouldn't have the bulge right before the bend either. Looks like either A. they didn't have a mandrel bend and lied or B. the guy running it didn't know wtf he was doing.

Honestly I'm not even sure of the performance difference between a mandrel bent and non mandrel bent exhaust. People say mandrel bend is the best, well obviously. But is it worth the extra cost?

It's OK trahma, I don't feel you flame me. It's mandrel bent, and yes it does look not that perfectly bent on the last pic. That was taken close to the tip. The person who bent it already told me that mandrel bending 3" pipe is way different and harder (because of thickness and size) than bending 2.25" especially with only very small room (like that near the exhaust tip). Well at least it saved me about $100 from buying the stainless steel 3" from Trubendz :) .
