hey all. I'm just lookignf for some input here.
I've got $1,200 to spend and tons of things I want.

things I want
1. Catback Exhaust (just ordered from Steve :))
2. Tint
3. CAI
4. Wheels/tires (used to save lots of money)
5. Suspension w/ at least 1.5" drop

so... what to do??? what should I get? Any brand name recommendations?
I guess the major thing for me is wanting suspension components but I don't know where to look. There isn't a whole lot out there for the '07s that I'm seeing.

you know how much the system runs? and how much a of a drop it offers?

boost is out of the question. I need mods than can be easily removed and replaced if something breaks and I need it repaired under warranty. if I do a big power adder it would be along the lines of a 50-shot of nitrous w/ a good tune.

Why? I know a few guys that have run it for a couple years without a single problem. a 50-shot is harmless if everything's properly tuned. Do the Dtec's not like NO2?

plus, that way if I like the power I'm getting, i know I'd be happy with a mild turbo setup

You really can't get a TB unless you also pick up a SCT Chip to flash the 'puter. Unless you do that, you will be running way too lean.
The difficulty with NO2 and the Duratec motors, is that you have to be very careful where you plumb it in otherwise you could end up with it "pooling" in the intake mani. I get this info from FJ, in the Dura forum, IIRC the owner of Marcy Motorsports posted something to that effect.

Best bang for you buck has to be the SVT/FRPP suspension set up IF it fits the '07's. (Steve will be able to confirm).

Price is about $225 or so. Drop is about an inch from factory.

Cheers,
Tim

w00t.

I think CAI and tint are the next on the list. I bet I can get away with finding some nice wheels and stay within budget at this rate!
