Well, don't know how I never found this forum before, but I am here now.
Currently driving a 6.2L Turbo Diesel M1114 Up-Armored HMMWV in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Part of a 15 man MN Natl' Guard team that is here advising the Afghan National Army.
Back in my garage in Coon Rapids, I have a slightly mod'ed '04 ZX3 (2.3L) waiting for me to return home. (SVT suspension (Thanks Steve), FS Stealth exhaust, short throw shifter, and a MM CAI.
Have some tentative plans to buy the FS Stage 1 Turbo, EAP wheels, and tint when I get home...sometime in mid to late June.
It is good to see such an active forum for the Focus up in MN, although it might be too early to tell if that is a good or bad thing. Bad thing because the more I visit places like this, the more money I end up spending on car parts.
If anyone has any questions regarding well, hell, anything, just ask.
Cheers,
KUCHI 36 OUT
Greetings from Afghanistan

I was with B-Troop 2-194 CAV out of Pine City. I deployed with a team of 15 others last Feb., '06 and should be home in about 5 weeks. Damn! This was a long year.
My Focus is the dark red color who's name escapes me at this time, it is pretty stock looking now with its factory 16" wheels and no tint. The SVT suspension helps some but you have to be looking for it.
I live right on the north side of Hwy 10, across from Show Place 16 and North Country Ford.
Cheers,

my brother is with the Anoka Armory, part of the redbull unit out of New Ulm. He's been in Iraq for over a year now, but has been deployed for almost two, he spent almost a year in Mississippi before he even left to Iraq, he too should be coming home soon.
You not too far from my folks place, they are just off of Foley and egret, on the other side of ten from you.

Yeah, those poor bastards from the 34th ID (Red Bulls) really have gotten fucked since Sep 05 when they flew to Camp Shelby MS for mobilization. 6 months there (we spent less than 3 months there- same time frame). They got into Iraq around March '06 and might be home by July or Aug '07. Hell, I mobilized in Mar of '06 and will be home before they do.
Cheers,
Tim
