Looking at buying the same lowering kit for my ST from Steve as you put on your ST. Did you have any problems with the fit and did you have to buy a chamber kit in order to get the alignment right ? Also if it is only an inch or so of drop do we need and do you recomend the other strut and hardware kit ? I have meet and talked with you before and you imput would be respected and welcomed . ---006

Soulhammer, I had to use camber plates on my car when I lowered it 1.5 inches. I think 006 is curious about it because the updated suspension, who knows if you need plates, let alone if they will fit.

Ok... Well the kit fits with no problems at all. It comes with replacement parts for every part of the suspension right down to new nuts and bolts. I highly recomend that you buy the hole kit. Because all the parts were made to work together. So yes get everything, new shocks and struts that come with the kit. Cause the stock ones were made to control the stock springs and there spring rates and ride hight. If you were to drop it with the springs and use the stock shocks and Struts, it would wear them out. And thats because the ride hight has compressed the gas in the shocks more than they where made for and the valves and seals goes bad. And they cant control the springs. So you dont get the full benefit of the suspension. And you will bounce all over the road. Thats very bad.
As for chamber and alignment there should be no problems. You will not need a chamber kit, and they will be able to get alignment done easy as hell.
I hope that helps I tryed to explane it as best as I could. Let me know if you need anymore info.

i think the st shocks and struts could handle the lowered stance better than the stockers. but hey if they blow/wear out it will give me an excuse to put some kybs in it. but good to know about the camber thanks.

So far I have not heard of anyone having any issues with this kit and no one has mentioned needing camber plates.
