I was on my way out the pick up some parts from Steve and I spotted a yellow svt at the Lincoln dealer in White Bear Lake.

I decided to check it out. It has 30,xxx miles on it and is an 03. It is a 2 door coupe with Recaro seats, EAP Package.

It looked very cherry. They wanted $13,000 something. One of the dealers asked if I wanted to drive it so I said yes.

Wow the 6 speed is sure interesting to drive. If I could swing the 8 grand or so I would buy it and sell my car.

Here are some pictures of the car.

Watch out when you buy from that dealer Randy, They sell a LOT of lemon law cars but they price them like cars with good titles.

When I was lookng for an SVT they had four lemon law SVT's on their lot.

A lemon law car could be fine but it could also be a real problem car, most of them are a case of a fussy owner and not real issues with the cars.

I can check VINs to see what was done under warranty.

That said, BUY THE SVT RANDY!!!

I bought my svt from them and yes it was one of the lemon laws...... i asked them what was wrong they told me about a rattle in the gearbox or something i forget... anyways .... lets just say this ... i did alot of argueing with some lil issues that my foci has gave me and all in all they have fixed everything and even gave me the new upgraded clutch flywheel combo after alot of grief but they did do it so im happy with the dealership there just difficult at times.....

I looked at cars there when I was in the market and I almost bought a Sonic blue '03 from them but they wouldn't play on the price even though it was a lemon law car.

I ended up buying my silver '02 at work (Tousley), Let me know if you need parts. I help all the guys out with parts at employee pricing.

Steve -

We might have looked at the same 03 blue SVT from California. I wanted one but I ended up getting my new 05 SES for darn near the same price since my wife works for Ford. For some reason it didn't seem any faster than mine when I drove it though. One of these days I hope to meet one of you SVT guys at a stoplight

I think that one may have had an issue with it's DSI, also remember that the Duratecs are tourqier than Zetecs.

You know all you have to do is show up for one of the local meets to find a willing SVT to test, I may know of a silver one you could try.

Just make sure it's mine because there is a twin to my car in town with a JRSC/BBK, I rode in it a while back and it moves right along. The guy was shifting at around 8000.
