Reliability. Not sure how well it'll work I guess. If you can help me to get it to work right then I'll go that route.

Also I don't want more boost. I want it to be conservative.

OEM wastegates are very reliable, they have to be.
If you want more boost, then you add a boost controller, if you want less boost then you do somthing like this:

my car has AC, it gets by that without a hitch... the downpipe is off by a couple degrees where it connects to the flexpipe... I'd suggest cutting off the homemade flange chuck made and redoing that part... the turbo is stug (to the point I bought slimline fans) to the stock fans, I highly recommend getting slimline fans... the internal gate is functional, but the actuator needs a new mount created, I didn't get that far. The stock actuator on the wrx ihi turbo as rated 7-8psi.

peace, I'm out

Actually now I am going to wait to fully put everything together till spring time. Unless I have the tuning money right away. But one weekend I am going to mount the Intercooler and mock up the charge pining. Get it fully welded and then painted. Then either tap the block skirt or oil pan, dunno which one i'll do yet.

Basically i'll mock every thing up, a couple weekends in a row. Double and triple check everything. then just wait for the tuning.

So really this all depends on if I can borrow a car for a few weeks from the parents, or use my bro who is in Iraq, use his truck while I am working on the car. Also depends on if I can find a heated garage to work on it. I do know of one, friends of my parents, who also lives in ramsey, has a huge 4 stall garage thats fully heated and has air compressor and everything i'd need to finish it, other than a welder.

so we'll see I guess.

Also yea I am planning on using the stock clutch and no LSD, too expensive right now.

I have a furnace in my garage, no gas line/ducting though

I also have a chop saw I am going to be putting a blade in to cut tubing with it.

Any tuner can tune any chip. Hitech is a Diablo shop but they can tune SCT chips. They both basically edit the same files on the ECU so it really doesn't matter who tunes it and which chip they tune, as long as they know what they are doing and what sections to edit.

I'll still go with Hitech as of right now they are definitely cheaper than DB.

The general concensous I get is Hitech seems to be the best route with tuning and custom cams, they also build motors and such.
