Because a tune and a boost gauge would have made the rubber hose stay on the waste gate.

But the point of the argument is that you said you had these safe guards in place to prevent meltdown, but you had meltdown. I came out and said I fucked up. It wasn't because I got greedy.

Well it's impossible to correct for a freak failure. Like I said, my car worked great in all aspects, pulled hard, ran well. I also put over 20k mi. on the setup, and ran at least 1/2 dozen bottles through it. It was safeguarded. Then I had plugs that somehow melted leading to a ring failure. I have yet to find out why those plugs melted, no one has any idea. I've talked to multiple well known focus builders and local full race shops (my buddy's dad owns Auto Edge) and I've talked to them about it, and even they don't have an answer.

So in essense, you're a dumbass. So shut the fuck up. k?

Every time you use nos you cut the life of your motor in 1/2, talk to people who do hard core bracket racing, nawz is well-known to eat the life of motors(shock load anyone?) Besides, being it is an oxidizer, the combustion chambers/pistons are hotter. Doing anything to a motor other then how it was intentionally designed will take away from its longevity. How many built motors do you see breaking 100k? How many nawz motors do you see cracking 100k? Ever see a super car break 100k? You got 20k on a zetec running nawz and being beat to shit, that really isn't that bad.

ahhhh hi...... welllll for one yalllll kan fuck off cus this has nothing to do with being drunk. and nils ,come on you know that a small motor like the z tek is not made for the pill it till yah kill it moethod... and scotty is right most full on race motor set up to drink nitro see at most 60k before they are torn down and scrapped or rebuilt. now nils your right in , yes you had a zex set up witch is a good move it is all controlled, you had a tune i think, you had cams right, and the valve train ? but the plugs, to me seem like you had a little prob with a leanness , it got hot and melted your plugs, i asked a a guy i work with( has a 10 second monza, on spray) said if you dont have the coolant temp and fuel trims dialed in a small hicupp in the afr in the cyl will do so much damage. so my guess is that you went lean for a second or two on a hard pull and poof , melted the plugs. he also said if you go rich, the fuel and nitus make it down to the first ring land and pop off there , and vwalla you have no more piston top.
