Ford Factory Remote Start?

An Extra Key. I would have to run out and start the Focus, lock it up, run for the house, wait, get back in the cold and run for the car again, unlock it with extra key(Ford factory remote does not work to unlock the doors with the engine running)

Ok, its friggen cold out there. Yes I am a Minnesnowtan, but with my health issues, I have some damaged nerves.

Damaged nerves + Cold = Pain

Here is the scoop, I have NO garage and I am one of the few focus owners in this group lucky enough to have and auto transmission. So I have many options with a remote start. So hear is the good and the bad!

The Bad

NO Garage
I need a long range transmitter as I park about 150-200 feet away from my home, with obstructions inbetween
I have the factory keyless entry with alarm
I spent most of my money on Cosworth stuff and rims(well worth it, btw)

The good

Auto Transmission

any Ideas?

I like this but its a little pricey so I would have to save up.

What price can you get on the Scosche? IIRC they're just rebranded Compustars. I have a hookup in Duluth if you want to make a drive north some.
reconstruction.

a key chain that has a quick release for the key from the keyless entry.

With that combo you can start the car, lock the doors, and still use your keyless entry while the car is running.

Fuck @ 650 thats too damn expensive. If you want to go to Duluth my friend will do the compustar with the same remote for $425 installed without an alarm, $500 with alarm. He has his own shop up there, and has been installing for 6-7 years now. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it.
reconstruction.
