For some odd reason I like these things too,

I don't exactly know why but I like the "roadster" look right now and with a 5.5 second 0-60 time I guess you can't really bitch about lack of power. Then there is the origanality factor along with resale.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!! they are fugly, I put them in the same catergory as the s2k, miata, elise. While they are great cars in their own respoect, a 2 door/2 seater that is that small, while being fun=teh gay. I'd go vette over either, go big or go home;)

As for the mustang in the snow, with the right tires and driver, you shold have ZERO probs, I did a bulk of my driving with RWD, all year round, and, in all honesty, I don't see how anyone would recommend a FWD shit box for a winter beater. I can't stand it.

You will be better off with an open differintial in the snow, this means no posi, but, you will not have to worry about the rear passing the front. If you go LSD/trak-loc, once the rear gets squirrelly(sp?), let off the throttle and take it easy.

Weight in the trunk helps. My old beater tbird(gawd that was a fun as fuck car) I had 4 10" subs, 2 in a sealed box, 2 in band pass, plus tools(apartment life FTL). I NEVER had probs with traction in the snow. in fact, one of my buddies, had a talon, fwd, and we raced up a hill(glenn street by hardees for IMINHELL) after a fresh snow fall, he was stuck 1/2 way up and I walked right past him. Good tires and good skillz make a good winter driver, not fwd, not awd.

I'd def take a mustang gt in the snow, but, above all, I'd take a truck in the snow, 4wd@65mph in fresh snow on unplowed back roads FTW! I did it in my focus, and it was too squirly for my liking.

My truck has an open diff so snow it drives straight.
