So after switching turbos yesterday my car wont start. I found out that it is the #9 fuse that is shot. But I replace it and turn the key so the accessories go on, and everything is fine. But when I turn the car on the fuse blows. So there must be a short somewhere, but I cant find it. A friend and I relocated the bat. And installed 3 gauges and a turbo timer, so I’m thinking its one of those 4 things, but I don’t know

Get a volt meter, or light meter and start tracing shit out, where did you relocate the battery to? Check to make sure nothing is grounded, also check and make sure that the relays and everything are hooked up correctly.

I found it, when Justin did a half ass job on extending my maf wires when we put the turbo kit on, hi didn’t tape them up well. jk Justin. 2 of the maf wires were touching causing the short. But I taped her up really good and I’m off to get some new IC piping made in the morning. 8)

In this guy's camp. If it all works fine until you hit the key, you got a short, double check the wiring and the starter.

sooooooo ....ahhhhhhhh........ummm yeah. ah whats the tape gonna do when it gets hoyt? melt right? and then your gonna be driving when this happens and then yer gonna need a new maf, witch i have, and to translate fix later,= ill do it half assed right now and then when it starts to cuase problems then ill forget what i did and then stress the fuck out and start rippin and tearin trying to find the problem. now take the time and do it once, even if you have to stop what yer doing for the night, its only counterproductive to hack things together, for example my car i have an abnormal amount of zip ties= no rivvit gunn. now i gotta go and rivvit all my shit and well , i aint got no time.
