Neon Short Shifter . . .

Over the weekend I found out that a shifter from a neon will work in a focus. The 3rd gen neon and the early (mtx75) are basically the same. The only differance is the way the lower cable attaches to the "pin". The focus attaches from the drivers side, the neon from the passanger. Other than that they are identical and interchangeable. So if a shoft shifter for a neon happens to cost less, save yourself some $$$ and buy it instead.

John, you should see the upper mount in the PT, its a redux, I swear, dodge and ford have the same plant in mexico....too many simularities, and, the cam gears... :shock:
