Back in the day, I had a Injen cai just like that. It made my car slower than when I had the stock intake on. It did make a cool sound though.

the pick up is actuallly better than my old cone filter setup... now i need is a stage2port TB or FC 65mm TB...

And a splash gaurd so it doesn't get soaked the first time you drive in the rain.
I take it you got the clamp off the throttle body.

that clamp sux!!! it was like welded on there.... i just did wat u said and cut that metal clamp off.... i wonder how i'ma put it back on when i need to go back to stock??

You could just buy an AEM bypass valve. It would save your engine just the same.

i'm thinkin about the bypass thingy... but it's already a PITA where the two pipes meet... so that i'll still look into....
