well got like 200 miles on it to day. got my first mil light and i think i need to adjust the shifter cables, but i raced a caddy sts today and smoked it( the older north star caddy) i found that the rackes are the same between the two focuses and the pumps are different, so now i have the svt steering also. next on the list is to swap sway bars and reinstall the stereo( i miss my boom booms)

i made a qwick intake tube out of aluminum dryer ducting and it didnt seal at the tb so i cut a peice of topper tape and put it in the tube and it seals good now. i was dinkin around today after work, i didnt think that the svt was as fast as the mustang. for some reason the car feels more balanced in the turns, i dont know if its the svt steering or if its the fact the motor sits a tuch further back in the engine bay, either way im happy as a pig in poopy right now

Um, The racks are not the same. I can't tell you exactly what the difference is but the SVT rack costs about twice as much as a regular Focus rack. I do know that the SVT has different inner tie rod ends also but the outer ends are all the same.

I would bet that the valving is a bit different.
