Ok so as you know I have a new born, and right now don't have the means, funds, ect... to get a third car and I just don't want to take my kid with me in my car. The ride is just too rough. Its either becuase I have the 18's and or a combo of the 18's and the KW variant 1 coilovers. But either way its rought as hell. I don't want to give my daughter the shaken baby syndrom from my car.
So I posed up a feeler for selling/trading my suspension on focaljet. I got an offer to trade the FK hitech kit 35/50mm drop front and rear. Both Rod and Justin have that kit and I've ridden in justins car and it doesnt seem bad or rough at all, but granted he does have 15" wheels where as I have 18's.
Should I keep my suspension and get 16's or 17's? or get rid of the suspension and get the FK kit?
thanks,
- Josh
Need Some help!!! Help me decide what to do....

how much drop do you have on your car right now? I personally will go with the 17 with a high profile tire, more rubber = more comfy, better for your wheels as well. i personally never ride on a coilover kit before so i dont know how stiff it is but mine was pretty rough running 35 on 18"s
SVT springs and struts might be able to help reduce the roughness too.

See I was thinking that too, becuase on the KW variant 1 kit's the rears are acutally just a standard spring shock setup, but in terms of different ratings for the fronts there really isn't any that KW provides.

The ride hight is adjustable not the rebound or dampening. Just the hight, the KW variant 3's are fully adjustable in terms of dampening, ect...

get a set of 16s or 17s get 3 way adj coilovers take the poly bushins out of the rear pivoit of the front controll arms replace the strut mounts or get a good set of progressive rat springs a good adjustable strut lower it to about 2-2.5 inches... or get tubeular arms front and rear( longer than stock) get a reall good coil over wit resivior some soft gravle tires and pillow ball type mounts for the coilovers
(14inches of travle cushy enough for ya)
