She was going 65 and I sorta like the PT, they are goofy looking and I know at least then I won't be called a ricer with one. Put cams and exhaust in it like I did with the focus I think I will be happy with it.
Besides, the PT's are cheap and I am feelin' cheap right now.
Buh-bye focus...

Dude, it's a neon with different clothes on it. NOOOOOOoOOooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Slower than your stock focus.
Well the old lady wants to keep it under 10k, so, no turbo. We got our eye on an 01 limited with 5 speed, 2.4, factory tint, power windows/locks/moonroof.
I know its nothing to brag about, but, really, like the claims adjuster said "its only a focus, no pun". Besides I got the tbird to tear into and the PT is at elast a stick. I already took a gander at headers and cams for the PT

Plus (scotty don't know this), I can get lots of parts for the 2.0 and 2.4 Dodges. Stock turbo manifolds, ECU's, cams, ect. I have a buddy that builds turbo neons. He has LOTS of spare parts. Or just get new from the dealer, the manifold/turbo's go for around $400. They are the ultimate poor mans race car.
Scott I got the head back together. I have to polish 2 pistons yet. So I'll throw the head back on tomorrow and if it runs well I'll stop by and give you a ride once
. See what this E-85 does in a turbo car

I gotta get the jocus taken care of and get some other shit delt with, but, I'd like cams, ported head, and exhasut. I think thats all I want. Don't need to go over the top, but, I want more ompf, haven't driven the stick one yet, going to go check it out, carfax said ti had one owner in its 38k worth of miles so its looking good, I went and checked out a PT forum and other then plugs/wire and power steering pump they are pretty much a rock.

I'll keep that in mind, and, the turbo and HO models you do not have to seperate the intake to do plugs.

Are you saying that the PT cruiser is a cross dressing Neon??
I just have a predjudice against Chryslers, the last dealer I worked at had Ford, Mercury, Jeep and Dodge and after looking up their parts and seeing the problems that the cars had that were referred to as "normal operating characteristics" meaning that even though there is a squeak, rattle, noisy fan, harsh shift it's really o.k. because they all do it so your car doesn't have a problem, it was engineered in at the factory.
I wouldn't get near anything they put together.

Yes, they look a little butch but femme at the same time, is that not cross dressing?

Slower than your stock focus.
When I bought the jocus and brought it to the dealer they told me the chunky trans was normal, after I changed out the fluids, it got a lot better. Ah well. The PT is something me and the woman agree on, I just wish it was a brand new one, for a touch less then 16k could get me everything I want but the turbo pretty much, 5 speed, power everything, 3 yr 36k miles...
