Last night my car went. Was going in third at about 6k and had a massive loss of power, this was NA. About two seconds later my oil pressure dropped off the charts and my car shut down. I completely blew my headgasket, haven't started to tear into it yet to see if I fragged the head. My coolant and oil are 100% mixed. To put it bluntly I'm fucking pissed.
Anyone free to help this upcoming week with the fix? I'm thinking of actually swapping head/headgasket on friday as I have the day off. I want this car on the road again within a week as it's my only car.
Let me know guys.
She Blew

Well pulled my nitrous kit out. Pulled my valve cover, everything in there looks A Ok! Which is good
My coolant resevoir (now that I can see it in daylight), looks to have definate traces of oil, also when I pulled the valve cover it looks the have thinned out greenish looking oil in it
Then I got around to pulling my plugs, which sunk my heart into china.....
The plugs I was running are on the top, the bottom plugs are for comparison

Haven't gotten a chance to do a comp. test yet, but I'm pretty sure my engine is toast. I can't imagine a blown head gasket along with pieces of sprak plugs rattling around in there can lead to anything good. It looks like my head will be savageable, or at least my parts in it.
I think I'm going to have to drop another block in here and sadly for me, throw in the hat on making my car a performance car. I can't afford to do anything like this again.
So long 200whp, back to 125whp
Hopefully someday down the road I can have a fast car again, for now though it looks like I'm just going to pay it off and have an all show no go car.
Any one have any lines on any local low mileage engines?

Find out where the tips of them plugs went, if they burned off or fell down a sleeve?
Tear the head off and check for damage along the cylinder walls, should be real obvious.
And, technially, your numbers are still in check, ford manual says if they are within 75%(iirc) of eachother its still good
Maybe its time for an svt shortblock

Last I talked to him he has it, its got 88k on it....
Check car-part.com and see what the bone yards have local around you.
As far as I know there is a zetec with 1500 miles on it down the road from me I should go get...
Wow, that sucks. I blew the 1st engine with Rod in the car, and I wasnt even going fast.
Good news is, that engine with only 10,000 miles was only 450 bucks. I got it from the place next to you pull our parts. AAA might be the name? I cant remember.
