svt header and power steering line

well i installed ym svt header and my ps line blew, kind of expected it, but now how do i fix it so it doesnt go again? i know someone on the board had this happen so id love to hear from them, any help would be awesome.

he drove around for awhile with his line busted, so after awhile the ps pump siezed up and left him stranded

you need to either get the svt line with the svt attachment, OR, do what I did, just slowly rotate it forward and zip tie it to the front of the car.

but look at the coolant hose where its goona rub through, and the stress markes on the line towrds the coolant hose.... now where did the line blow?? if its the hard line get some 3/8s line and some ends and flair a new line to get rid of that rubber peice.

the rubber piece is busted, it heated up against the header

Yeah don't let shit touch your header, or your egr tube, thats how I fucked myself...motor hasn't been the same since...

The tube that melted my coolant by=pass hose :oops: That was when I was more stock...

man! kids these days!!!! you know that the egr is very important in keeping the cyl temps at the right levels.... get more over lap in a cam and you have contant egr!!!!!!!!!!!! i wouls try to make a hard line any where near the heared
