look at it very close. the factory link has two little flat spots on the back side for a 17,16mm wrench.... and i wanna see yer ride when its done! ive heard not much about it.

Oh yeah that side, you know why the hell did they make those so narrow you can't get a wrench on them. The flts spots on nblumes stock ones had this friggen shoulder towards the link that prevented a standard wrrench from being used. the new ones he had were flat the whole way.

There may be some surprises in store. My car looks like a focus, because after all it is just a focus.

i dont know why ford did alot of things....like changing fuel filter fiting every 20 days it seems... i find the after market end links are better, so when i do a repair job at work i factor them in the estimate. that way i can use my prybar and snap them it makes life so much easier. i usaly pull the caliper cus i dont pop the ball joint like alot of people do, i like to get a good firm hit on the knucle with my hammer so with the caliper out of the way i dont have to worry about hittin it, i know its an added step but it is much easier to remove than to remove and replace, cheaper too! and i dont buy this its just a focus crapp!!!!! its blood sweat and beers be proud of it , its your work!!!!! brag about it , thats the best thing about building your own car.......right umidivx.........ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Fawk you ass hole, just becuase I didnt build my current car doesnt meen I havn't worked on my old one, as well as help out Rod plenty of times. I just know stupid stealership mechanics don't know how to do shit, and if they do they do it the wrong way, the hard way, and charge a fucking arm and a leg for it.

The way that Rod and I did it, worked just fine, and didnt cost a dime, oh and guess what? it fucking works!!!

Yes, the caliper had to come off to slide the disc off...

Its an 03 polaris predator, 1 down 4 up, no reverse, it scoots along alright...I wanna try one of them yamaher raptor 700's and see if I can break something...this unit is my brother's, being my garage is mucho grande then his, its at my place, and, until I cooked an improperly lubed bearing, it was fun. I was rding wheelies and sliding around corners 'til she locked up, and, the father-in-law said he wished his kodiak was faster 8) I made a point to pass him and give it 5th as I passed him :P

Thanks for the offers, but after looking at it I decided to do this myself (I did have to borrow a spring compressor from nblume, thanks man). It was easy but as always the case it took longer than I thought. However I don't know why anyone would remove the brake caliper, it wasn't in the way. Also I wasn't able to put on the bigger rear sway bar as I didn't have the bigger bushings, and forcing the old ones didn't look like it would work.

The car feels a lot more planted and quicker steering. I still have to get the alignment checked though. Anybody want my old parts? They only have 20,000 easy miles.
