Just wondering if anybody has an svt focus and what their thoughts are on it.

My cousin has one, and its pretty nice. He has the euro svt, with the awsome seats, cool rims, and HID's. But he also bought his car for $18,000+
Mine was $10,600 before ttl.
You looking to buy one?

While this argument has been rehashed time and time again, I will suggest going the route of a ZX3 over an SVT. Of course this depends on your plans. If you plan on going the route of modifying your car beyond basic bolt ons, the SVT is not the car for you. Out of the box the SVT is a great car, however the 2.3 has more torque if I recall correctly. Not to mention how well it responds to bolt ons and at a lower retail.
You could pick up a used ZX3 for 6,000-7,000 now, for $3500 be running a turbo fairly reliably, and putting down around 200whp. Bump that up to $4500 and you can have an amazing suspension with decent tires. Where a used SVT will probably run you more than 13k. (I haven't looked at used SVT prices, this is a guess)
Just my 2 cents..

Got my SVT - 03/23/04. Loving it....It has been fun ever since I drove it off the lot, being that this is my first manual, I am really in the dark as to what I can do, should do to it. But as far as the overall, I had the SE, and although I liked the four door....Have never looked back yet. The extra's on the SVT are nice too.
